Create a train visit from a train stop template

If have predictable train visits times, you can set up train visit records using an existing train stop template.

To create a train visit from a train stop template:

1. Go to Operations>Rail>Train Stop Templates>Train Stop Templates view.

2. Select the Train Stop Template upon which you want to base your train visit. Note: You can only generate a train visit for a template stop that has a Service Id. If you want to create a train visit from a particular template stop and there is no Service ID for that stop, you can generate a carrier service from the train template (on page 1).

3. Select Action>Create Train Visit.

4. For Train Direction, indicate if you want the visit to be Inbound, Outbound, or Through.

5. Enter the Est.Time of Arrival, along with the estimated time of day.
